What store can I purchase vermiculite at?

I’ve tried Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart, a lot of nurseries….even Ace Hardware. No one seems to have verm. I live in south suburb area of Chicago, so if anyone has any idea where to get vermiculite at let me know. Best answer gets chosen AFTER I get my verm.

Also, as a last resort, start checking with the Swimming Pool Installation Companies in your area. The companies that install Vinyl Lined Swimming Pools use Vermiculite as a soft base for the Vinyl liners. They have large bags of the stuff on hand, and might be willing to let go of a couple of bags now that their busy season is over.
