Unique Garden Decorations
Wine bar/restaurant business building?
I currently run a fairly successful wine bar / restaurant but its plateaued a bit in sales. I want to do something different for the Xmas period that will make us unique, but want to avoid the whole tacky cliched “fake snow, gaudy decorations” approach.
I will be stocking mulled wine, mead and a fire in the garden for roasting chestnuts but does anyone have any other ideas as to how I can attract some extra custom through the doors?
Also after some general business building ideas. NOT fancy dress theme nights or anything like that because its not that kind of place.
As an example we currently do a tapas night every Thursday with a live spanish acoustic duo. Something along the same thing would be good.
Why not try a wine tasting/pairing night for the holidays – the interest in wine is booming and many people are very intimidated by the pairings for different food and wine, so a pairing night would be a great way to get some novices in the door. Just be sure to advertise in some very nontraditional media to get the word out.
